Bristow Holland are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior System Administrator to join an exciting IT infrastructure team.

The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of server management, networking, and general IT support. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their career in systems administration and IT support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of server hardware and software.
  • Support network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Provide general IT support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Monitor system performance and security, and assist with troubleshooting.
  • Help maintain and update IT documentation and procedures.
  • Participate in the deployment of new IT projects and systems.
  • Work collaboratively with this IT team to support ongoing operations and improvements.

Requirements:

  • Strong Office 365 skills
  • Experience with Active Directory
  • Cloud experience either Azure or AWS
  • Basic understanding of server operating systems and server hardware.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant education or certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals) is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of systems administration.
