Job role

This is a Senior Project Manager role for a global insurance brokers who are going through a large transformation across several areas of the business.

As the Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for driving business change across the organisation, working closely with stakeholders, key partners and other departments to identify and improve all business processes and to ensure that all change projects maintain business value. You’ll be managing and delivering a range of projects, initiatives and workstreams across a number of programmes of work from start to finish and taking full ownership of these – which include managing upwards as well as down, chairing meetings and being able to present information to senior level board members and management.

You will be part of their dedicated IT & Change Team, which consists of Project Managers, Business Analyst’s and Programme Managers. The beauty of the work you’ll be getting involved in is that the projects will vary in nature from size, value and complexity, and will often span across the different departments and business functions meaning the stakeholders and project deliverables will differ from project to project.

Experience wise, we’re looking for someone with a proven track record of successfully delivering multiple projects simultaneously, preferably within an insurance based business. You’ll need to be comfortable taking the lead on projects and initiatives, whether that’s coming from a Senior or Lead background, or whether you’re at the point in your career where you’re looking for this level of responsibility. Projects will cover IT, Technology, Business Change, Operational and Regulatory, so a good diverse project portfolio will be highly beneficial.
